Gallery Sharing, Photo & Video Downloads
Use Send & Share when a gallery is ready. You can copy the gallery link and download PIN, or send a branded delivery email directly from Galleries.
Prepare client access
- Confirm the gallery visibility and, on paid plans, set a viewing password if needed.
- For photographs, choose full-resolution, web-size, or no downloads. Video originals follow the gallery’s download access and PIN rules.
- Set a download PIN if only the client should be able to download the complete set.
- Check the linked client name and email.
Compose the delivery email
Choose a built-in or saved template, edit the subject and message, and insert fields for the client name, gallery title, gallery link, and download PIN. A print-credit template is available only when the gallery has a usable credit. If you have adjusted the subject or message and want to reuse it later, you can save it as a new template right from the share page; editing or deleting saved templates, and choosing which one is the default (a checkbox on the template), happens in Settings → Email templates. Send a test to yourself before the client message when you want to check the final formatting.
How downloads work
Clients can download one photograph or request a ZIP of the photo gallery. Full-resolution mode delivers the stored photo originals; web mode creates smaller JPEGs around 2048 pixels on the long edge. Videos download individually at their stored original resolution, including 4K originals, while gallery playback adapts up to 1080p. Whole-gallery photo ZIP links are temporary and normally remain usable for seven days. After expiration, the client can request a fresh link from the gallery.
Custom domains
When a Pro custom domain is active, gallery, email, and download links use that domain. Previously issued galleries.shootcal.com links continue to work. See Setting up a custom domain.
