One ShootCal Account for the App and Galleries ​

ShootCal uses one verified account across the scheduling web app, Galleries, and the Lightroom Classic plugin. They share the same ShootCal password and stable account identity, while each product keeps its own session cookie and product data.

Set up your account ​

  1. Create your ShootCal account with your photographer and studio names. You can use email and password or continue with Google; Google-first accounts choose one ShootCal password for the shared login.
  2. Verify your email, choose the ShootCal URL clients will see, and accept the Galleries terms and content policy.
  3. ShootCal creates the ready-to-use Free Galleries studio under the same stable account identity. Opening Galleries does not require another registration or another password.

If you already have a Galleries studio, Continue with ShootCal links it by the verified stable identity without losing galleries, settings, its permanent address, or its current plan. An ambiguous legacy match stops for ownership review instead of guessing from email.

Use the same ShootCal email and password in the Lightroom Classic plugin. The password is verified by ShootCal and is never copied into the Galleries database.

What becomes connected ​

  • The Galleries client picker can search clients from both Galleries and the ShootCal app.
  • A client view can show bookings and contract status beside galleries, favorites, downloads, and orders.
  • From a client in the ShootCal app, you can create an empty, unlisted gallery draft for them in one press.
  • Your light and dark logos live in ShootCal Settings, and Galleries and the website builder use them wherever your brand appears.

The Free studio workspace is part of account setup, but individual client galleries are never created automatically. A client gallery exists only when you ask for one, so adding a client does not quietly fill the studio with empty drafts.

What remains separate ​

Gallery photos, delivery settings, favorites, store orders, and plan billing remain in the Galleries service. ShootCal is the shared account and password authority. Google Calendar events, Google Contacts, tasks, contracts, and booking settings remain with the scheduling app. Signing out of one browser product does not delete either product's data.
